Her approach to supporting families is to meet them where they're at for both birth and postpartum support. This means that Dez provides unbiased support to help her clients achieve their ideal birth experience in all situations whenever possible and making sure the client feels supported in all outcomes. In addition to hands on support for families Desiree prides herself in being a professional support resource as well.

In her spare time she enjoys embracing time and being active with her children and husband in the Chicago suburbs.

Jessica K-Birth, Postpartum Doula and Education

Jessica firmly believes that the saying "It takes a village" is one of the most important lessons of parenthood, and enjoys helping parents navigate their own individual journeys- discussing what is best for them specifically and recognizing that we all have our own unique sets of needs, hopes, and resources.

She aims to meet every family where they are at, and specializes in families coping with stressors such as anxiety, depression, and recovery from difficult labor and deliveries.

When she is not working, she enjoys making the most of the amazing food in Chicago, relaxing by the lake or in the forest, watching superhero movies with her teenage sons, and cuddling with her daughter.

Briana O- Birth and Postpartum Doula

Bri is a full-spectrum doula with over 3.5 years of professional experience and more than a decade of supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

Bri’s passion for this work grew from her own birth experience over a decade ago and those around her, especially those in marginalized communities, who lacked the support they needed. She’s dedicated to educating, advocating, and providing emotional and physical care to help families feel confident and empowered—through birth and the early months postpartum.

Bri has worked in home, birth center and hospital births all over Chicagoland and supports all birth choices for her clients. Her goal is for her clients to have a positive and support experience. Whatever that looks like to them.

When not supporting families, Bri is raising her two sons (ages 9 and 11), cheering from the sidelines as a soccer mom, dancing, making TikToks, and running her handmade bath and body business. She loves staying busy, living life fully, and pouring into others.

Dawne HW- Birth and Postpartum Doula

Dawne is an experienced DONA-certified birth and postpartum doula. She has worked with over 200 families in her 12yrs as a doula. Dawne offers a deeply informed and compassionate approach to supporting all her clients on their journey to parenthood. In addition to her doula work Dawne has a graduate degree in social work specializing in maternal/infant health and postpartum mood disorders. Her dual background in social work and doula care allows her to recognize the mental, emotional, and physical changes her clients are working through during pregnancy, birth and the early post postpartum period.

Dawne is trained in Evidence Based Birth techniques, Spinning Babies and Body Ready Method. She values continuing education and is always learning to better herself as a doula.

When Dawne is not supporting families she can be found exploring nature with her partner, three children and menagerie of fur babies, or in the kitchen nourishing their souls through their stomachs

Lindsey B - Birth and Postpartum Doula

Lindsey is a mom of three, the oldest sibling of five, and a former nanny with a background in early childhood and infant care. She is also a registered yoga teacher.

Lindsey’s fascination with the beauty of the birthing process began with the birth of her first child, 15 years ago. Since that time, she has supported countless friends and family members through pregnancy and labor. In 2022, she decided to pursue her passion full time and completed her birth doula training.

Lindsey is kind and warm; her patience and ability to remain steadfast under pressure will help you to feel empowered and at ease. Lindsey believes that all birthing people are deserving of a beautiful experience, and will help you to find yours.

Maggy - Birth and Postpartum Doula

Maggy is a birth & postpartum doula whose practice is rooted in body autonomy, trauma-informed care, and reproductive justice. Before becoming a doula, Maggy served a year-long AmeriCorps term at a maternity home, where she lived with seven pregnant and parenting women who were previously unhoused supporting them through their pregnancy and parenting journey.

As a queer birth worker, Maggy is passionate about inclusive and affirming care for all families, including LGBTQ+ parents, single parents, and those with diverse cultural backgrounds and lived experiences. She loves helping families find their voice and confidence in their pregnancy care and parenting style. Her goal at the end of a contract with her clients is they leave feeling stronger, confident and ready to take on this parenting journey.

Originally from rural Iowa, Maggy recently graduated from the University of Chicago with her Master of Social Work degree and is loving life in Chicago. In her free time, Maggy loves trying new restaurants in the city with friends, walking on the lakefront, and watching live music!

Sara V - Birth Doula

As a mom of three, Sarah is passionate about creating equitable, empowered birth experiences for all her clients. She was inspired to become a labor doula after seeing the lack of emotional and educational support basic prenatal care provided for pregnant people.
She hopes to support families in having a positive, informed and educated birth experience whatever that looks like to them! Sarah is passionate about supporting all birth choices and hopes her clients can feel that she will be right there with them in whatever decisions they make. In her free time, Sarah is an avid reader, cultivates her vegetable garden, and loves to spend time with her three girls and husband.

Sydney C - Birth Doula

Sydney is DONA trained postpartum doula as well as early childhood educator. For over a decade Sydney has supported new families in different ways. Her career started as a lead teacher in an infant classroom at a daycare, supervising up to 15 infants at a time. When the daycare closed during covid she pivoted to the nanny world and finally landing on postpartum doula.

Pregnancy and birth has always intrigued Sydney, but it wasn’t until after giving birth to her first child that she realized the importance of good support during the postpartum period. She is passionate about supporting families through traditional postpartum support (meal prep, tidying the home, helping with household tasks) in addition to offering night time support with a focus on safe sleep, feeding support, and being a listening ear for questions and concerns.

Outside of work Sydney is a mom of 4 who loves to spend time with her husband and children. She enjoys time in nature, cooking, gardening, listening to music, and reading.
